This is one of the first recipes Yogi Bhajan gave us. This dish is cleansing to the liver and the digestive tract. To help your body do its own inner cleaning, eat it as a mono diet for one week in the Spring or Fall.

Hari Singh passed from this earthly plane at his home in the amrit vela (early morning) of November 16, 2018.
He was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to a "mixed race" family and over the course of his life, became a staunch champion of diversity. He had a great love and respect for the military and while still in high school, enrolled in the Marine Corps Reserves, where he served for 6 years.

Hackers Hacked My Email, Demanded Bitcoin (Scam)
A recent question from a Sangat member sparked this month's column. Here's his question:
"I get emails from hackers a few times a week saying that they have cracked my email account. As proof, they have supplied me with the correct password for the account. The message goes on to say that they have planted a Trojan on my computer which allows them to spy on me.

The legacy garden has embarked upon a journey of becoming a productive organic farm. Productive in the ways of produce, income, jobs, teaching, and serving. Growing along with the organic produce will be opportunity, prosperity, goodwill for the community, knowledge, self-reliance, and food security. In-line with being organic and sustainable, the garden will use the latest technologies of organic gardening, including hydroponics, vertical growing, and photovoltaic power for the greenhouse. Expected results include 12 months of high density crop yields, reduced water usage, simplified pest control, and minimal weed control.

Pyaray Sadh Sangat Ji,
If we were to try and count the blessings of being at Hacienda de Guru Ram Das, we would reach the same conclusion taught to us by our beloved Guru when contemplating the virtues of God, the limit of our blessings could not be reached or counted. However, if we were to highlight some of the sources of these blessings, especially the events or activities that we share in together, some things that might come to forefront of our minds include our Gurdwara program, Sadhana, Langar, Seva, and a certain unbroken thread of divinity that holds together the energetic field of our entire ashram - our beloved Akhand Path
Three potent roots, known as the Trinity Roots, are essential for cleansing, sustaining, and producing energy in the body. The beneficial effect of each of them separately is amplified when they are cooked together.
“The three roots—garlic, onion, and ginger—will maintain you through the times and through the age.” ~Yogi Bhajan
The teachings are working when you start to appreciate the creativity, the service, the trust and the love it took for your true teacher to even begin to teach you. Gratitude is the result. The awareness of just how unaware students are of there teacher’s teaching is what makes them students. This unawareness is defined through a lack of, or a display of gratitude.
“Once upon a time long, long ago, relationships developed. I mean lifetimes ago, thousands of lifetimes ago this dance began. You think you’re free? you’re never free. For good or not, your relationships will follow you through time. There’s only one way to rid yourself of this karma.” I couldn’t wait to hear his next sentence. How do we let go? How do we surrender? How do we get off this wheel? How do we overcome deep attachments?
