Someone recently asked me, “What are you? I mean, why do you look like you do? What’s the reason?” I loved the question, but I didn’t know where to begin to answer. Then it came to me. Keep it simple. “I’m a man who doesn’t want to waste the opportunity I’ve been given. I just want to keep-up serving God.”

A Yogi Bhajan recipe modified by Guru Meher Kaur
When I was in my late twenties, I had a sudden bad breakout of acne on my face. I remember Yogi Bhajan making comments on how bad my acne looked (only because I was so overly concerned with my appearance). At any rate, he put me on a beet millet pancake diet for 40 days. (As you may know, beets are an excellent food for cleansing the liver.)

Here’s a twist on regular Bliss Balls with the addition of chocolate nibs and peppermint; delightful for a special holiday. Organic cacao nibs are nature’s original chocolate chips! Made from crushed cacao beans, they are crunchy, flavorful, and packed with powerful nutrients, antioxidants, and fiber. If you are not partial to agave, you can substitute maple syrup or delicious local honey.

Recently I’ve been hearing a lot of rumors flying around regarding Windows 10 “spying on you” and “searching your hard drive for pirated games and erasing them." Well, I really dislike rumors, but I love the truth. The truth is that neither of the above are true. Windows is set by default to gather personal information about you (same as Google) but you can turn it off.

“Son,” the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, said, “The guidelines of spirituality may vary depending upon many things, but one of the most important factors is obedience. It’s also one of the hardest concepts to surrender to.”

After the tragic events of 1984 Siri Singh Sahib ji instructed us to hold a wish-and-dish Gurdwara every 6th of the month and to sing the Narayan shabd. He said that “when we’ll perfect (the shabd), Akal Takht will appear by its own force.” In those early days, when Siri Singh Sahib ji gave a command it was (relatively!) easy for me to obey and serve, without questioning.
