Yogi Bhajan: Flexibility Equals Change

The world is changing, that’s obvious. Either you get on board, or you fall behind.


On board means flexibility. Fall behind means inflexibility; holding on to the past. Change is about the future, and the future is now. There are so many eras of the past, along with past karma, DNA, etc. that it can grab and hold a student without the student even knowing it. Don’t be one subject to these ill forces. Yogi Bhajan: Infinite Love = Forgiveness

Forgiveness is from heart to heart, so they say. I say that’s true and a real good beginning. Heart to heart is a commitment. It’s not a conclusion. Heart to heart is an awareness, an acknowledgement, an identity, with the forgiven. It’s a wonderful, rewarding and enlightening, thing. But, there’s more.

We believe that we have faith in God, but have we surrendered, truly surrendered? True faith and surrender go together. I’m not saying that a little surrender won’t help a lot...it will.

The way to God’s attention is through His praise. Praise God, don’t judge Him. He’s beyond your judgement.

Praise God, Praise Guru, Praise the Almighty. That’s all you hear from all great religions. That’s because it’s true and it works. Thousands of years of history stand behind the benefits in praise of God. God wants your praise.

Yes, God knows that you can easily judge Him. He made it that way. He’s made it easy to judge His work. Wrongful actions are on display everywhere.

Much of the time people see what they want, usually at times when they can’t deal with any other view. Let me give you a vivid example.

Ahmaud Arbery is a name and story we all should know, and I’m sure most do. Briefly, he was cornered down, shot and killed. He was black. His murders are white. This happened in a small southern Georgia town. An eleven white, one black jury was a product of what’s called preemptive right. It looked bad, real bad for the prosecution who was arguing for justice for Ahmund.

Yogi Bhajan: What's Gratitude About?

God is a "carrot and stick" kind of God, balanced through compassion along the way. He supports you, and protects you. He provides for you, and He forgives you. Most of all, He loves you so much that he knows how much you experience it. God has beautiful carrots.

On the other hand, there is a minimum God requires for his favor. The cost is gratitude. If, or when, gratitude wanes, God’s favor wanes accordingly, until God’s favor appears to turn into punishment.

Yogi Bhajan: Perception is Reality

There are three realms of truth: elementary, circumstantial, and Infinite. Basically, they’re self-explanatory. Elementary is your perception of reality as an earthly function. Circumstantial is time-sensitive and is a heavenly function. Infinite is true, was true, and will always be true, and is a Godly function. Pretty straight forward.

 

One who sees life through these three lenses, magnifies his perception geometrically. Here’s the deal. If you haven’t visited the circumstantial realm, or the Infinite realm of truth, as most people don’t, you won’t, and shouldn’t believe either really exist, or that these realms are the truth. That’s the way it is and I can’t do anything about it except pray for God’s mercy.

Yogi Bhajan: Charhdi Kala

Through it all, no matter what pain circumstances may create, keep-up in praise of Guru ji, God. The Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji shows us how, “Katya duke bukh sadmir, ebe dot te re da tar,” (Oh, Supreme Giver, if you cast a hundred thousand more pains, curses and hunger upon me, that, too, I will say is Your gift). Whatever happens becomes necessary, so no judgement is necessary.

Wow, a life totally free from bias, prejudice, indifference. Lean back for just a moment and imagine what life would bel like if you lived it in love for ALL? Non-judgmental love.Unconditional love. Pure love. Love filled with wishing well for all, and meaning it.

Yogi Bhajan: Differences Can Be Illuminating

We all have differences, great differences. As they say, it comes with the turf. Any true relationship has differences. In spite of all, a Sikh has found the way to love all. It doesn’t mean that he may not have to go to battle with those he loves, but he’s understands how. Please let me explain.

"You can have everything if you let yourself be.” This line comes from the depth of 3HO. It’s our theme song. Back in the 60’s, a famous singer, Donovan, sang a song which began, "Happiness runs in a circular motion. Life is like a little boat upon the sea. Everybody is a part of everything anyway, you can have everything if you let yourself be." Do you think that this became our theme song by accident? No way. Please, let me explain.
