Like most dressings, the flavor gets better over time, so I recommend chilling it in the fridge for an hour or two before serving.

Since February we have been busy. Our lead farm manager Shakti Priya Kaur (Leah) has been diligently serving and guiding Sevadars in garden service for the community.
Together we have planted 2500 onions & 100lbs of potato seed. We've acquired and planted native organic heirloom seed at local exchange, providing a nice variety for the Legacy Garden.
I remember it like it was yesterday. Actually, it was forty years ago. The Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, and I were sitting in a small restaurant, Jasons, in Westwood in late spring of 1979 enjoying a falafel. Jason’s was a small but famous stop in LA because their middle Eastern food was rockin! This was back in the days when the two of us ventured out alone each afternoon. We were just leaving a movie from around the corner and the falafel hit the spot. “Sir, if you don’t mind me asking, what changed your life. You’ve told me many times about your earlier life, and you have hinted that is was not always a pretty picture. What happened?”
During the month of May, it’s a great idea to put a handful of cloves in a Chinese soup bowl or other porcelain or ceramic bowl with water, and soak overnight. The next morning, take three to four spoonfuls of the clove water before breakfast (on an empty stomach), no more than five. Do this first thing in the morning when you brush your teeth.
About five years ago, I was able to come down from Albuquerque to help serve again as I had for many years before.
The day before, as I was driving in to help with Thursday prep, I became excited as I saw the walkers along the highway, beginning their pilgrimage even from as far away as Albuquerque and Algodones.

Leah and John York are looking to support the community through the production of local, healthy foods and teaching participants in the Seva Sadhana program and community about their connection to health and nutrition through conscious connection to the land and growing their own food. Leah has planned a rotating organic crop cycle that should provide fresh fruit and vegetables throughout all seasons, utilizing vegetarian based composting methods to create vital healthy living soil and plants.
