 Baisakhi Day Celebration & Activities
In Sikhism, it is one of the most significant holidays in the Sikh calendar, commemorating the establishment of the Khalsa at Anandpur Sahib in 1699, by the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. This year we will be celebrating with a special workshop on Saturday, April 9th, meditating on the spirit of Guru Gobind Singh with the shabad, Jai TeGang.

Ignite Your Khalsa Spirit - Jai Tegang Intensive Fundraiser for SD Worldwide Dasvandh & HGRD
 Guru Gobind Singh, Father of the Khalsa, praises the spirit of the sword in the mantra Jai Tegang. Now is the time for us to embrace and embody the sword which represents “our glow, our grace, our grit,” according to the Siri Singh Sahib.
In honor of the Baisakhi season and Sikh Dharma Worldwide's 120-day meditation on Jai Tegang, Matamandir Singh and Satmitar Kaur, will lead a workshop to ignite our Khalsa spirit. We will:
- Meditate on our swords in a 62- minute Jai Tegang Recitation with the Nagara Drum
- Embody the Adi Shakti through the practice of Gatka/Shakti Yoga
- Strengthen the Pranic body and Magnetize the Radiant body through Kundalini Yoga
- Enjoy a Chakta presentation (Sikh battlefield fighting) by Matamandir Singh
Bring a mat, sheepskin, and a sword or kirpan. Join us for this transformational workshop to ignite our true Khalsa spirit, magnify our radiance and shine like the sun! By donation. Monthly Saturday meditation evening for all ladies and girls
We could have a potluck meal or snacks and choose a meditation that will serve us as we approach the Aquarian Age. The first meditation evening will be at my home on Saturday, 1/15 at 5:30pm. Please bring sheepskins and or pillows for sitting. If you would like to lead the meditation please let me know. Call 753-4516 or 929-1033 for directions.
